AI handoff
Prepare, review and copy a compact context for your AI coding assistant.
SpecMiru doesn't run or call any AI model. It builds a deterministic, compact description of what you selected so that the assistant you already use gets real values instead of a screenshot and a guess.
Prepare → review → copy
- Click Prepare for AI (Inspector or Code).
- Before sending opens. Nothing has been copied yet.
- Choose the format, detail level and options, add your instruction, and check the preview.
- Click Copy for AI, then paste into your assistant.
Formats and detail
| Option | Values |
|---|---|
| Format | Markdown, JSON, CSS, Specs |
| Detail | Compact or Detailed |
| Content | Essential, Layout, Style, Structure or Full context |
The technical Markdown is always in English (coding assistants respond better to it), whatever the interface language.
Optional content
- Visible text of the selection (cleaned, bounded).
- Parent context — the direct parent's layout.
- Child elements — positions relative to the selection.
- Cleaned HTML — a component skeleton without text, values, URLs, scripts, events or inline styles.
- Element capture — only the file name is added to the text; attach the image yourself.
- Your instruction for the AI, kept separate from page data.
Built-in protections
- Page data is marked as untrusted reference data, never as instructions.
- Emails and probable tokens are masked; this cannot be turned off.
- Form values are never read.
- The preview shows the size and the number of redactions. Copies are limited to 128 KiB: use Compact or fewer options for large selections.
Secret detection is best-effort: page titles, paths and ordinary text may still be sensitive. Review the preview before sharing.
